And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24 ESV
An intentional community is one that purposefully loves, accepts, sharpens, supports and inspires each other.
The good news is that you don’t have to overthink being intentional in community. At Illuminate, we believe it’s as simple as remembering that you yourself are a temple of God–meaning the church is where you’re at, and goes where you go. So We’ve adopted, and provided here for you SIX QUESTIONS to help you start meaningful, and intentional community building conversation that you can ask in any setting, and with anyone, follower of Jesus or not.
1. How are you?
2. What are you celebrating?
3. What challenges are you experiencing?
4. What do you plan to do about those challenges?
5. How can I help you?
6. How can I pray for you?
Our encouragement to you is that you’d see every opportunity with anyone, as a chance to cultivate community with intentionality, and to love, accept, sharpen, support and encourage them just as Jesus would–all the while illuminating His hope.
